The Buckeye Fire Department will come to your home and check any smoke detector that may be malfunctioning or batteries needing change. Every crew carries extra batteries and smoke detectors on the truck and to best serve the community will install smoke detectors without any charge. They will also inform you on the importance of smoke detectors as well as family escape plans, which could be the best chance of survival.
